Behind The Scenes With Hymans And Mcleod

Edmonton Oilers score big with memorable goals

Behind the scenes with Hymans and McLeod

The Edmonton Oilers have had some memorable goals this season, and two of them came in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series against the Dallas Stars.

The first goal came from Zach Hyman, who scored his 50th of the season on a rebound in front of the net.

The second goal came from Warren Foegele, who scored on a breakaway after a great pass from Connor McDavid.

Both goals were big moments in the game, and they helped the Oilers win 5-3 and avoid getting swept in the series.

Here's a behind-the-scenes look at both goals:

Hyman's 50th

Hyman's goal came at a key moment in the game, with the Oilers trailing 2-1 late in the second period.

The goal started with a shot from Evan Bouchard, which was saved by Stars goalie Jake Oettinger.

Hyman was there to collect the rebound and put it past Oettinger, tying the game 2-2.

"It was a big goal," Hyman said. "We needed to get something going, and that goal gave us a lot of momentum."

McDavid's pass to Foegele

McDavid's pass to Foegele was one of the best passes of the season.

McDavid picked up the puck in the neutral zone and skated around the Stars defense.

He then made a perfect pass to Foegele, who was streaking down the wing.

Foegele one-timed the pass into the net, giving the Oilers a 3-2 lead.

"That was an unbelievable pass," Foegele said. "I knew I had to put that one in."

These two goals were just a couple of the many highlights from the Oilers' 5-3 win over the Stars.

The Oilers are now one win away from advancing to the second round of the playoffs.
